Natural wood wicks that light easily and burn with a soft, gentle crackle. Stand one upright in your poured sand wax — no holder needed — and trim it to suit your vessel. They're longer than the wicks included with your pearls, so a single pack stretches even further.

Leave about 1cm above the wax, and trim before each burn for a clean, even flame.

    what are sand wax pearls?

    Our sand wax pearls are small beads of palm wax, scented and coloured. Pour them loose into any heat-safe vessel around a wick, light it — the flame melts the pearls into a pool of scent. Blow it out and they re-set, ready to top up or re-mix.

    do i need a special vessel?

    No — any heat-safe container works: a tumbler, a teacup, a jar, a bowl. Cotton wicks are included in every box.

    how long does a candle burn?

    It depends how many pearls you pour — more pearls, longer burn. A full 500g box gives you around 120 hours of burn time.

    can i really mix the scents and colours?

    Yes — that's the whole idea. Pour two or three together to invent your own. See Scent Mixes for recipes and ratios.

    can i reuse the old wax?

    Absolutely — crush the leftover sand wax in a bag and mix it back through fresh pearls.
